Day before show in most cases.
Refunds
No refunds on semester fees.
Make-ups
Liberal make-ups in the same level class, but you must schedule ahead.
Riding make-ups may not be taken to replace unmounted lessons*.
Indoor Lesson*
During inclement weather or frozen ring conditions, your instructor may
choose to do a ground lesson. This could be on care, vet problems,
general knowledge, bandaging or some pertinent subject. Please do not
skip these!
Lesson Preparation
You must arrive at least 15 minutes before your lesson and plan to stay
after your lesson to properly take care of your horse. We use the demerit
system of 1 hour of "hard labor" for equipment left out or put on improperly
and for horses not properly taken care of. If you do not know how to
do something A S K !!!! If horses have been jumped they must be walked
at least 15 minutes before putting them away!
Attire
Boots, chaps, hard hats (we have loaners) and hair properly put up and
shirt tails put in.
Use of Horses
The Clay Hill horses and ponies are available for local and A-Rated horse
shows. The charge is $50 which includes a coached practice prior to
the show. Trailering is around $50 and coaching for the day is $50.
You are responsible for getting your horse ready and if you cannot
braid or clip and this needs to be done, you will have to pay someone
to do this for you.
