Clay Hill provides the following services for you and your horse at a very convenient location:

Stall Board - daily turnout

Training Board - daily turnout, grooming, rides

Private Lessons - 1/2 hour (scheduled only on Mondays and Fridays)

Group Lessons - 10 Lesson Package

Semester Package (13 weeks - 2 lessons weekly and 1 practice)

Horse Leases - Monthly or yearly, includes one lesson per week

Summer Horseback Riding Lessons

6 Credit Internship for the University of Maryland Animal Science Department

Coaching at Shows

Trailering

Horse Rental for Shows

Preparation for Shows - (Clip whiskers, ears, fetlocks; Pull mane; Braid mane; Braid mane and tail; Braid tail; Full body clip - you buy blades)

Practice Rides

Working Student - Practice Rides (2 hours work), Lessons (5 hours work)

Other Services and Programs

VOLUNTEERS FOR COMMUNITY SERVICE HOURS

We accept volunteers and working students on an individual basis. Volunteers must be 12 or over and sign a contract and be able to work hours chosen by the barn. Many weekend hours are available.

GIFT CERTIFICATES ARE AVAILABLE IN DENOMINATIONS OF $25 - $50 - $100 OR MORE or FOR ANY OF THE PACKAGES LISTED BELOW

FOR THE YOUNG, ENTHUSIASTIC EQUESTRIANS - LESSON INFO

We offer weekly lesson plans both after school and on Saturday. The cost of a 10-lesson package is $450.00 We also offer our Super Semester Package of 2 lessons per week and 1 practice ride. The cost of this is $850. This includes a Horse Show and Special Activities!
Spring Semester - March through May

FOR THE HORSEY FAMILY - $225 March/ April/ May Appointments Should be Made in Advance
Spend an hour (or a little more) one Sunday afternoon a month TOGETHER AS A FAMILY getting to know everything you always wanted to find out about horses and their care and the sport of riding through hands on and videos. Includes actual riding time for your family.

SATURDAY PONY CAMP $550
Or $150 per month March - June
11:00 - 5:00 Saturday afternoons each month. Includes barn chores and grooming, a Clay Hill Saddle Club shirt, videos, and a riding lesson each Saturday you come plus the opportunity to ride the horses and ponies at the end of the day.

ADOPT-A-PONY - $75
Adopt your favorite horse or pony for a month. $75 includes a picture, a certificate, unlimited visits to the barn to groom and give him/her plenty of love and attention and a short ride once a week. September - December
